Costumes are special equipment that alter a character's appearance and can be enchanted with unique effects.

After entering Izlude with a new character, talk to the NPC for the quest.

1. Talk to Cenere who will surprise you to show that he is a Galapago named Shorty.
2. Shorty will give you 도와줘 쇼티 which is a usable item that calls him.
3. Level to 31 and summon Shorty who will ask you to help find his friend, Salty, who was last seen in Payon.
4. Talk to Kafra Staff in Payon Building /navi payon_in01 193/23Copied! who says that Salty is somewhere in Prontera Fields.
5. Talk to Salty in Prontera Field /navi prt_fild10 318/191Copied!
6. Rewarded with 1 Costume Penguin Cap and 6,000 Base EXP.

Players can enchant costumes with Costume Stones or Effect Stones in Malangdo.

As of May 21st, 2021, all costumes can be enchanted with the exception of costumes that innately grants bonus effects.

Talk to NPC and select either Enchant Costume Stone (Option 2) or Enchant Effect Stone (Option 3) followed by a location.

Note:

• A Costume Stone must correspond to the costume location you are enchanting (Top / Middle / Lower).
• Costume Stone (Top) will occupy the 1st socket of the headgear costume.
• Costume Stone (Middle) will occupy the 2nd socket of the headgear costume.
• Costume Stone (Lower) will occupy the 3rd socket of the headgear costume.
• If a costume headgear occupies multiple location (Top & Middle), you can enchant it for those sockets.
• Costume Stone enchantment has a 50% success chance and only the costume stone is destroyed on failure.
• Effect Stone enchantment has a 100% success chance.
• Players can overwrite costume stone by enchanting again.

Talk to NPC and select Enchant (Option 2) followed by either Costume Stone (Option 1) or Dual Stone (Option 2).

Note:

• Costume Stones occupy the 1st socket of the costume garment.
• Dual Stones occupy the 2nd socket of the costume garment.
• Costume Stone enchantment has a 50% success chance and only the costume stone is destroyed on failure.
• Players can overwrite costume stone by enchanting again.

Talk to NPC and select either Add Effect Stone (Option 2) or Remove Effect Stone (Option 3) for 99,800z.

Note:

• Effect Stones are purely cosmetic that gives aesthetic effects such as altering size or glowing effects.
• Effect Stones occupy the 4th socket of the costume.
• Effect Stone enchantment has a 100% success chance.
